A linguistic awareness intervention targeting spelling and written expression in a 10-year-old dyslexic child

We report the case of a monolingual English-speaking boy (AM) aged 10-years, and intervention targeting spelling written expression difficulties that AM had. AM’s performance was contrasted in all experimental measures to group 13 typically developing spellers attending same class. Literacy cognitive assessments revealed for non-word reading difficulties, deficits spelling, expression, phonological ability, verbal memory rapid automatized naming. took part nine sessions linguistic awareness focused on promoting simultaneous attention phonology, orthography, morphology, semantics syntax. Results significant improvement reading, writing handwriting. The results indicate raising can have robust impact expression.
